| Founded in early 2007, Mellow Circle Prathyasha – Home of Hope for Children will contribute towards the medical, nutritional, educational and emotional well being of these HIV affected children by housing them in our own home, so that their days on earth have a humane touch, a touch of dignity. Which is why this home is called ‘Prathyasha’, meaning hope?
Children affected by HIV are like those with a death sentence on their head…… like innocents being sent to the gallows, for no fault of theirs.
This project had picked up momentum with the donation of 8 grounds of land near Avadi, from Mr. K N Oommen, in memory of his late wife Mrs. Mary Oommen.
 This project is planned in three phases. Construction of the first phase of 2400 sqft is complete, we have a project coordinator, caretaker cum warden, counselors, health workers, cooks, a driver and helpers who will ensure good health and education for our children which is our prime importance. Now we have 10 children in our home. Our goal is to make Prathyasha a home to 50 children.
